Common questions
How do I cancel my subscription? Open iOS Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Batchd, then Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before your trial or billing period ends to avoid the next charge. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
How do I get a refund? Purchases are made through Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, and choose Batchd.
How do I restore my purchase on a new phone? Open Batchd, go to Settings, and tap Restore purchases. Use the same Apple ID you subscribed with.
How do I delete my account and data? In the app: Settings > Delete my account. This permanently deletes your plan, answers, progress and notes. It doesn't cancel your App Store subscription, so cancel that separately. If you can't open the app, email support@thebatchd.app from the address on your account and we'll delete it for you.
Why is my shopping total different from the till? Prices are estimates from each supermarket's online prices on the date shown in the app. In-store prices, promotions and stock change, and smaller convenience stores often charge more.
How are my calorie and protein targets worked out? From the Mifflin–St Jeor formula, your activity level and your goal, with protein set per kg of body weight. See Settings > How we calculate your targets. You can set your own numbers at any time.
I have an allergy. Can I rely on Batchd? Batchd removes recipes containing the allergens you tell it about, but it can't guarantee products are allergen-free. Always check labels.
Which supermarkets do you support? In the UK: Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda, Aldi, Morrisons, Lidl, Co-op and M&S. In the US: Walmart, Kroger, Aldi and Target.
